Cabbage Salad

This super food Cabbage Salad is a great lunch to have if your on a diet or just feeling like a nice fresh healthy salad.    -Serves 8-

Ingredience

1/2 Chinese Cabbage

2 Carrots

1 Red Onion

1 cup of Roasted Cashews

1 packet of fried noodles

1 bottle of Trangs Asian Salad Sauce

Method

  1. Was and dry cabbage [shredded finely]
  2. Pell and grate carrot
  3. Finely chop onion
  4. Chop cashews
  5. Combine all ingredience with a tablespoon or two of dressing and serve immediately

Rice Salad

The rice salad is a mouth watering delicious salad. You cant go wrong so why don’t you make it today!

Ingredience

4 cups of cooked Rice

1/4 cup of French Dressing

Pinch of Turmeric

1/2 cup of frozen Peas

2 Shallots

Method

  1. Boil rice with turmeric until cooked then refrigerate overnight
  2. Chop Shallots
  3. Combined all the ingredience

Garden Salad

This salad is great for when you are not feeling like a big filling meal.
Just have a Garden Salad!
1 Large Cos Lettuce
4 Roma Tomatoes
½ Cucumber
1 Avocado
Wash lettuce thoroughly
Cut Tomato’s, Cucumber and take the skin off the avocado

For a better taste add balsamic vinegar or topping of your choice

Potato Salad is a side dish consisting of cold cooked potato chopped and mixed with mayonnaise and seasonings.

POTATO SALAD

8 large Washed Potatoes

2 Shallots

½ Cup Mayonnaise

1 Tablespoon Ranch Dressing

4 Rashers Bacon

Scrambled Eggs

Scrambled Eggs is a dish of eggs prepared by beating them with a little liquid and then cooking and stirring gently.

Recipe

3 eggs

2 teaspoons milk or cream

Salt and pepper

1 tablespoon butter

METHOD

  1. Crack eggs into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add milk or cream
  3. Add salt and pepper to your liking.
  4. Beat mixture until well combined.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan
  6. Pour mixture into the saucepan over medium-low heat and put lid on tightly.
  7. Allow to sit for the first couple of minutes
  8. Remove lid and gently folding the mixture over on itself until the eggs look almost cooked. (Folding rather than scraping and stirring will result in fluffier eggs.)
  9. When the eggs look just a little bit underdone, remove them to a serving plate. If the eggs look done in the pan, they’ll be overdone on the plate.

  • Ground nutmeg
  • Grated or crumbled hard cheese
  • Cottage cheese
  • Cubed cream cheese
  • Roasted capsicum
  • Green onions
  • Sautéed or caramelized onions
  • Tomatoes (sautéed with basil)
  • Cooked asparagus tips
  • Sautéed mushrooms
  • Sautéed zucchini (with shallots)
  • Chopped, cooked and drained spinach
  • Crumbled, cooked bacon or chopped ham
  • Crumbled, cooked sausage
